Sustainability Advisory Committee

Term: 3 years
Meeting: Monthly,  6pm

The Sustainability Committee brings together different perspectives and expertise to ensure that sustainability initiatives are responsive to the community's needs and concerns. The committee makes recommendations to City Council regarding natural resources and promoting awareness of sustainable practices within the community.

The Committee consists of a minimum of seven and a maximum of nine members who are appointed by Council for a term of three years, though the composition and size may be amended as needed so the committee is able to fulfill its mission. One member must be a Master Naturalist or Certified Horticulturist and one member must be a Landscape Architect. These members are not required to be City residents, but all other members shall be residents and qualified electors of the City.
