Allison "Alli" Gantte assumed the role of Deputy City Administrator in December 2021. In her capacity, Allison provides direct support to the City Administrator, City Council, and Department Directors, demonstrating her leadership prowess in overseeing the daily operations, budget preparation and implementation, communication, and the formulation of major policies, as well as short and long-range plans. Her responsibilities also encompass special projects and assignments spanning across all City departments and activities.
Before joining the City of Clemson, Alli served as the Town Administrator for Pacolet, SC. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, specializing in Public Administration, from the University of Tennessee in 2017. In 2019, she earned a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in local government management from East Tennessee State University.
Alli's professional affiliations and accolades include membership in the South City and County Management Association, International City and County Management Association, International Town and Gown Association, and her graduation from the Leadership South Carolina program in 2023. She is also an esteemed member of the South Carolina Municipal Insurance Trust Board of Trustees and the ICMA Assistant City/County Administrative Officer (ACAO) Committee.
Beyond her professional commitments, Alli resides in Clemson with her three beloved dogs, Riley, Kiley, and Scuba.
