Planning and Development


The Planning and Codes Department oversees building construction, fire, and life safety concerns, handles all permitting for new constructions, administers the City zoning ordinance and zoning map, manages the short and long term rental housing programs, oversees the comprehensive master plan and other long range planning initiatives, and manages all ongoing and current planning needs. The department also houses both the Parking Services and Engineering divisions.
