Bio: David "Andy" Blondeau, MPA was named the Clemson City Administrator by City Council July 1, 2020. He currently manages 13 departments, 419 employees and a $55,685,000 budget. Andy first joined the City in 2007 as a project manager and was promoted to Assistant Administrator in 2007.
Andy is a two time graduate of Clemson University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management in 1999 and a Master's in Public Administration in 2009.
Andy's professional affiliations and acknowledgements include, the South Carolina City and County Management Association, International City and County Management Association, International Town and Gown Association, Foothills Area YMCA Board, FIRST Robotics Competition Planning Committee, Leadership Pickens County Board of Regents, 2006 graduate of Leadership Pickens County, 2012 graduate of Leadership South Carolina, 2014 recipient of the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce Good Government Award, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity Executive Committee, Anderson Regional Joint Water Authority, Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce Board and Clemson Fellowship Club.
Andy and his wife Reagan have been married for 24 years and have two teenage children, Katie and Sam.
