Engineering is a division of the planning and development department works closely with other departments, particularly Utilities, to manage upkeep of public, City-owned or maintained properties. Engineering works with developers on all the new projects that come into the City of Clemson. The extent of this work includes onsite and off-site utilities, stormwater, grading, and roads and paving. Inspections take place during construction and are coordinated through Engineering, Utilities, and Public Works.
