The City of Clemson has several boards and commissions, some of which are required by state law and some of which are established by the City via ordinance. These boards and commissions are composed of volunteers from the community who have been appointed by Council.

Each October, the City advertises upcoming vacancies with terms beginning the following February. Occasionally, positions may become vacant at other times of the year, and those vacancies will be advertised as needed.
